Information Security

Individuals in information security are responsible for detecting flaws or vulnerabilities in an organization’s electronic information system and developing appropriate solutions and countermeasures. Some specialties require identifying who is responsible for breaching a system, or recovering deleted or encrypted data from a hard drive. Information security specialists spend most of their time working at a computer in a field that encompasses a variety of industries and organizations.
